It is the personification of goddess energy, and the eternal Mother from which our lives evolve. We are born on the womb of the Earth, and to her soil our bodies will return. In honoring the Earth, we are asked by Turtle to be mindful of the cycle of give and take, to give back to the Mother as she has given to us. Turtle has a shell which is similar to the protection that Earth has employed for centuries. Turtle is a reminder of the ally you have in Mother Earth. It does not matter what situation you have created: ask her for assistance, and abundance will follow. Amethyst is said to be a "stone of spirituality and contentment". It encourages conscious connection with our Higher Self and Divine Mind, allowing understanding of the spiritual lessons of the situations you have created to become apparent. It also transmutes lower energies( rage, jealousy, fear) into higher energies of patience, tolerance, self acceptance, faith. Amethyst bestows stability, strength, invigoration, and peace; the peace being the perfect peace which was present prior to birth. Because of the calming effect it is an excellent stone for meditation. It promotes fairness and flexibility in decisions and enhances the ability to manage responsibilities. It helps sooth ones temperament, and helps ones business prosper. Amethyst aids in opening ones mind to new ideas, new emotional attitudes, and new depths of spirituality. It is said to encourage sobriety, and is helpful for freeing one from addictive personalities.
