Cat's Eye Rose Quartz (Madagascar) Turtle~CRCERQTR. Star rose quartz is an opaque to translucent microcrystalline quartz of pink to rose-red color that contains microscopic rutile crystals which are oriented at right angles to the c-axis of the rose quartz in three directions, each 120 degrees apart. When polished into a sphere or dome shape, and viewed at a specific angle with a source of light a star-effect is visible. This is known as asterism. If the shape isn’t an even sphere or dome, it creates “lines” but not a star shape and is known as “cats eye”. Rose quartz is said to emit a calming, cooling energy to gently remove negativity and to reinstate the loving, gentle forces of self-love. It brings clarity and harmony to the emotions and mind. It promotes gentleness from within, and attracts it from outside ourselves. Rose quartz also opens us up to the beauty of music, art, literature, nature, ourselves and others. It is an excellent stone for healing emotional wounds. Rose quartz reminds us that universal love is our birthright, and that the only lasting lesson is love, and that we have already learned it, and we need only open ourselves to its healing truth. It represents the Great Earth Mother, supporting us, calming excess fiery emotions, and allows us to connect with the Divine Source while here on Earth. The message of rose quartz is to remind one that only love can heal your life and your creations, that it is time to let go of any anger or resentments, and that there is nothing you can do that would make God love you any more, and there is nothing you could do that would make God love you any less.
